Wedding presents

I have a couple of weddings coming up over the next couple of months, so yesterday I went in to Myer in the city to get the wedding gift registry lists.  I was all organized and took the neat gift register cards (really nice heavy white card, semi-glossy and textured, embossed and printed all fancy) which had been sent with the wedding invitations.  I walked into the rather large building and looked at the store directory and found the Gift Registry Office bit (level 2 Lonsdale St Building - Myer has a couple of joined buildings here).  So I walked through to the Lonsdale building and then went up the escalators and around to the discreet and tastefully lit corner office.  Luckily there wasn't a queue so I went straight up to a lady at one of the Gift Registry desks, sat down and handed her the cards for her to look them up on her computer.  She looked at them and smiled at me and said "these are for David Jones".
